Sylvana Woodland Angel Fairy Tree Topper | Needle Felted Christmas | Waldorf Inspired Winter Forest Decor | Holiday Mantel Art
from $90.00
This woodland angel comes in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” tall. Each Sylvana is individually handmade by me from soft wool and natural fibers, with beautiful curly wool locks worked into her woodland crown and the greenery she carries in her hands.
She is designed as a Christmas tree topper, but she also stands independently, so she can be displayed on a mantel, holiday table or among your favorite Christmas decorations. The smaller sizes are lovely for little trees and tabletop displays, while the 10” and 12” sizes have a wonderful presence on a larger tree.
When I created Sylvana, I wanted her to feel as though she had just walked quietly out of the winter woods. Her soft earth-colored gown reminds me of tree bark and winter branches, while the layers of mossy green bring the forest back to life.
Her long brown hair, oversized soft wings and little crown of curls give her a gentle, peaceful presence. I especially love the wild curls of greenery she carries—they make every one a little different and give her that wonderfully imperfect woodland character.
To me, Sylvana is an angel of the winter forest, bringing a little piece of the quiet woods into the warmth of Christmas at home.
I make each angel slowly by hand, so please expect small differences in her hair, curls and wool. Your Sylvana will have her own little personality and will be uniquely yours.
This is collectible decorative fiber art and not a toy. Please keep away from small children and pets, as wool and small parts may present a choking hazard.
