This Winter Woodland Fairy is available in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” tall. Each one is individually handmade by me from wool, silk and natural fibers using needle-felting techniques.

She wears a flowing gown of snowy white, silver and soft gray fibers, with long auburn hair and delicate woodland antlers. A tiny snowy owl rests on one arm while she holds a handmade snowflake in her other hand.

I created her to capture that quiet feeling of the winter woods after a snowfall—soft, peaceful and just a little magical. I especially love her little owl companion and the way the different wool fibers blend together like layers of fresh snow.

She makes a beautiful winter figurine for a Christmas mantel, woodland holiday display, seasonal centerpiece or special shelf, and she can remain on display long after Christmas has passed.

Every fairy is slowly made by hand, so her hair, owl, antlers, fibers and other small details may vary slightly. These little differences give each one her own character and are part of what makes handmade work special.
