This Saint Nicholas was made with the warmth and old-world feeling of a traditional Father Christmas in mind. His deep red robes, golden details, tall bishop’s mitre and curled staff give him a wonderful presence for Christmas decorating. Specially beloved in Waldorf tradition.
I make each Saint Nicholas individually by hand using soft organic merino wool. His curly white wool beard and hair are carefully shaped by hand, and I needle felt each part of his clothing, hat and staff one piece at a time.
He is available in approximately 7”, 9” and 11” sizes.
Because every Saint Nicholas is handmade by me, small variations in the wool, beard, clothing and details are natural. No two will ever be exactly alike.
