Merrybell is one of those little characters that makes me smile while I am creating her. With her bright red toadstool hat, tiny owl companion and little mushrooms tucked into her dress, she feels as though she has just wandered out of a Christmas woodland story.
She is available in approximately 6”, 8” and 10” sizes.
I make each Merrybell individually by hand using fine merino wool and soft natural fibers. She has long flowing wool hair, green leaf-like wings, a richly colored red and forest-green dress, and sweet little needle-felted toadstools nestled at the front of her skirt.
Her tiny owl is also needle felted by hand and rests gently on her arm.
Merrybell is designed as a tree topper with a hollow base that fits over the top branch of your Christmas tree. She can also stand independently, so you can display her on a mantel, shelf, holiday table or woodland Christmas scene.
Each Merrybell is made individually by my hands, so small variations in the wool, hair, mushrooms and owl are part of her handmade character. No two will ever be exactly alike.
I especially love her for people who enjoy a little fantasy mixed into their Christmas decorating—mushrooms, woodland creatures and the feeling that something magical might be hiding in the forest.
