Maple the Acorn Keeper Fairy
Maple stands approximately 8 inches tall.
Her flowing autumn dress blends golden warm brown accents in woodland green. Tiny hand-felted flowers and leaves adorned her garland, while curly reddish wool hair falls beneath her woodland greenery.
Nestled among the vines is Maples’s little hand-felted robin companion, and at her garland hangs the treasure at the heart of her story—a wonderfully acorn.
She is designed as collectible seasonal fiber art for autumn displays, nature tables and woodland-inspired interiors.
Because of her delicate handmade details, Mapel is decorative art and not intended as a children’s toy.
Mapel’s Story
As a child, I loved playing with acorns.
I would collect them like tiny treasures. In a child’s imagination, something as ordinary as an acorn could become precious—the beginning of a game, a little woodland world, or an entire story.
I never quite lost that feeling.
Years later, those memories found their way into Mapel.
She wanders through the woodland gathering the little treasures autumn leaves behind. Acorns, berries, fallen leaves and tiny flowers are precious things in her world. A curious robin often follows along, watching from the vines while Mapel searches for her next discovery.
The oversized acorn she carries is a little reminder of childhood itself—when the smallest things could hold an entire world of wonder.
Mapel is made slowly by my hand, with the hope that she carries a little of that wonder into yours.
