Her hollow base allows her to rest gently on top of your Christmas tree, while she can also stand beautifully on her own as a mantel decoration, holiday centerpiece, or seasonal Christmas display.
Hope wears a soft white wool and silk gown decorated with delicate hand-felted greenery, berries, and small cardinals around her dress while her long brown hair with a greenery crown, and large soft white wings complete her traditional Christmas look.
In her hands, she carries a handmade Christmas wreath decorated with tiny berries and greenery. Hope was inspired by the familiar colors and little details I love about Christmas — evergreen branches, bright red berries, soft winter whites, and the warmth of decorating our homes for the season.
I love working with natural materials because they keep my work connected to nature and to the beautiful world that inspires each of my dolls. Every Hope is handmade one at a time, so each one will be a little different and uniquely yours.
