Raphaella comes in 5”, 6”, 8” and 10” tall. Each angel is individually handmade by me from wool and natural fibers using needle-felting techniques.
She has large white wings, long auburn hair and a fresh woodland-green gown layered with deep red and white. A bright red cardinal rests among branches and berries on her dress, while she carries a small Christmas candle surrounded by greenery and red berries.
Her hollow base makes her a Christmas tree topper, but she can also stand on her own on a mantel, shelf or holiday table.
I created Raphaella around the warmth and stillness of Christmas in the winter woods. The cardinal brings that beautiful flash of red against the green, while her little candle represents warmth and light during the season.
Every Raphaella is made individually by hand, so slight variations make each angel unique.
